For a physical actor, the body is precision, control, and architecture in space. For a clown, the body is the stage for a beautiful disaster. This masterclass does not aim to teach you how to “make jokes,” but rather to help you discover the comedy that already lives within your own vulnerability. In physical theater, an error is usually something to correct; in clowning, the error is the Holy Grail. We will cross the bridge connecting rigorous movement technique with the untamable freedom of the ridiculous, transforming your physical precision into a magnet for laughter and empathy.

Romina A. Krause. Clown, director, actress, singer, dancer and juggler. She was born in Argentina and graduated in Combined Arts from the University of B. Aires. She has been touring for 15 years with her one-woman show “Mina” all over the world. She participated in numerous plays and short films. She is a theater, clown, musical comedy and yoga teacher. She is a member of various circus casts and co-creator of the company Mundo Costrini.
Sebastian Marcel Guz. Director, musician, clown, mime and juggler. Born in Argentina where he studied at Circo Criollo. He has been touring since 1996 with his shows: El Niño Costrini, Humanus Comicus, Crazy Mozarts and Geeks, all over the world. He has been awarded the: Daidogei World Cup 2007 Award – Japan; Festiclown Award 2004 – Spain; Prize Festival of Valladolid 2003 – Spain; Gold medal Circus Festival 2002 – Bolivia.
