Theatrical art is created through presence – the presence of the audience to watch and the presence of the artists to perform. In this workshop, developed based on the
experience of Rodrigo Nasser, a Brazilian mime artist, clown, and actor, we will learn some principles of mime that will help develop an integrated and connected bodily expression with our psychophysical impulses, resulting in a better and more efficient artistic expression and stage presence.

Rodrigo Nasser
Rodrigo Nasser is a Brazilian actor, mime artist and clown. For 14 years he has performed professionally in many regions of Brazil, having participated in important festivals and won several awards. His research and performance focus is on popular theater, mime, masks, street theater, and clowning. Based on these artistic languages, Rodrigo has articulated his own mime aesthetic, combining technical references learned in workshops with Thomas Leabhart, Luis Louis, Miquéias Paz, Fernando Vieira and Eduardo Coutinho.
